Most yoga directories online are either hollow, single-brand, or too generic to actually help. locator.yoga exists to answer the question you actually have: which studio, how far, what style, walk in or sign up.
Why we built this
Hollow
Some directories are just a name and a view counter. No filters, no pricing, no way to tell studios apart.
Single-brand only
Chains like CorePower and YogaSix only list their own studios. We show everyone — boutique, chain, or a single room above a coffee shop.
Too generic
Yelp and Google Maps don't know the difference between a drop-in class and a 12-month membership. We do.
How we keep this accurate
Every listing starts with Google Places data, then gets two more passes: we read recent reviews for real signals like beginner-friendliness — and cite the review, so it's never just our opinion — and we check each studio's own website for pricing, styles, and intro offers. A real person spot-checks it before it goes live.
Houston first, more cities next
We're launching one city at a time so every listing gets full treatment, instead of spreading thin across a dozen cities. Houston is live now — more cities are next as we go.
