What we collect, and what we don't.

locator.yoga (“we,” “us”) is an informational directory of yoga studios. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Only what you give us directly, through one of these:

Waitlist signup— your email, and optionally the city you'd like us to cover next.
Contact form — your name (optional), email, and message.
Studio correction submissions— the studio name, what's incorrect, and your email if you want a reply.
Featured listing interest— your email and, optionally, which studio you're asking about.

We don't have user accounts, we don't collect passwords, and we don't process payments — none of that exists on the site today.

Location

If you use “Near me” or search by zip code, your browser asks your permission each time before sharing your location (or you type a zip code directly). We use that location to sort results by distance for that one request — we don't store it.

Where studio data comes from

Studio listings are built from Google Places (public business information) and each studio's own public website. If you run a studio and want something corrected or removed, use the correction form on that listing or email us.

Cookies and tracking

We don't currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and database provider (Neon) may collect standard technical logs (like IP addresses and request timestamps) as a normal part of running any website — that's infrastructure-level logging, not something we access for tracking individuals.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information.
We don't share it with third parties except the service providers necessary to run the site (hosting, database).
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
